Religion in Cambodia (Kingdom Of Cambodia) is characterized by a diversity of religious beliefs and practices. Religious tolerance in Cambodia (Kingdom Of Cambodia) is high. The Third & Forth largest religions is Christianity with (0.27% & Bahaism with (0.10%) that forms various three major Churches in Cambodia: The Roman Catholic Church, Orthodox Christianity and others etc.
Caodaism is with (0.046%) of the Cambodian population. The Religion combines Buddhism, Christianity, Taoism, Islam, Hinduism, Judaism, Geniism & Confucianism.
But a small number of Cambodian are those who belongs to No Religion Affiliations/Category (which includes Atheistism, Agnosticism, Non-theism, Secular humanism along with No Response) with (0.194%) and growing but very little. Others remaining (0.09%) includes Chinese Folk Religions , Sikhism, Jainism & many etc. The Cambodia (Kingdom Of Cambodia) is a Buddhist as a Buddhist majority Country/Kingdom. The Cambodian government recognizes Buddhism as it's Official Religion. Other religions have an gradually growing since Mid 20th century to 21st century. Muslim traders along the main trade-route between Western Asia through Āryāvarta were responsible for the introduction of Islam to Cambodia around 12th to 17th centuries CE. The religion was then further spread by the Chams and finally consolidated by the expansion of the territories of converted rulers and their communities. The Chams have their own mosques. In 1962 there were about 100 mosques in the country.
