La primera fase de estudio que marca las elecciones fundamentales del árbol, teniendo en consideración la forma del tronco, su base y el potencial futuro sobre las diferentes posibilidades de elección. Al final, decido sacar lo mejor con un shoin, aprovechando la poderosa base y la madera muerta en la que me he centrado en el centro del proyecto. Un largo camino, que pronto verá injertos de itoigawa para poder sacar cada vez más calidad a un material que al principio tenía muy poca.
