US prison assault: New York Attorney General investigates inmate death

New York's Attorney General is promising a thorough investigation into the death of an inmate, after he was beaten by state correctional officers.
Robert Brooks, who was serving 12 years for assault, died in hospital on December the 10th. Prison watchdog groups say violence against prisoners is endemic in the state's jails.
