Removing stubborn fake virus warning notifications from Edge or Chrome

Recently, I got a laptop in for service because the user was frequently seeing virus popups. The popups were fake virus notifications via Edge from a malicious website. This computer had a combination of adware and rogue cookies. In this video, I go through the process of stopping the notifications and removing the adware. I should note that every situation is unique and your system could require more steps to remove infections, including wiping and reinstalling Windows.
