In the world of luxury and fashion, it’s no longer just a matter of whether the shoe fits or not. It’s about finding the perfect match, both in terms of fit and style.

Salvatore Ferragamo has just launched itsTramezza made-to-order programmefor men’s shoes to give clients the opportunity to take control of the design process and create shoes that fit their own personal preferences.

Options for customisation include the basic shape and type of the shoe (Oxford, double monkstrap or monkstrap boot), material, colour and buckle finish. The sole of the shoes can also be monogrammed for extra personalisation.

The name \'tramezza\', which means \'something in-between\', refers to the extra layer of leather that is placed between the in-sole and the sole. By using leather instead of cork, Ferragamo’s Tramezza shoes ensure long-lasting comfort and durability.

Each shoe requires 100 nails during the shaping process. One coat of paint is applied once a day for three days.
