Answering Your Questions + Day in My Orthodox Jewish Life | Orthodox Jewish Mom (Jar of Fireflies)

In this video I take you along on a day in my life as an Orthodox Jewish homeschooling mother of three. Along the way, I will be answering some of your questions that I have gotten the past few days. I start my day by waking up early and praying then having my breakfast. As the kids wake up and have breakfast, I make my way into the kitchen and while they pay, I start answering your questions starting with what is up with my washing my hands with the cup every morning. Then after a quick kitchen clean up, I move onto our school work and while I do that, I answer a couple of your homeschooling questions. I talk about why I homeschool my kids especially when there are Jewish schools nearby. After school we have lunch. While I am preparing lunch I talk to you about what I do if I mess up a dish in my kitchen and make it not kosher anymore. I go on to show with a real life example of some silverware that needed to be re-kashered. I get the water boiling and show you as I re-kasher the silverware. After lunch, we get ready to go swim in a local creek with friends, but a storm comes. While I am waiting for the rain to stop, I answer your question about what I wear when I go swimming by showing you my swimsuit and talking a little bit about it. The rain finally lets up, and we head out to the creek. While there it does start to rain again and the radar warns of approaching storms, so we make the decision to head home. I chat with you about our plans for the rest of the day and then I pick back up after dinner where I catch you up on our afternoon and early evening, and answer another question you have which was where did I get my channel name, Jar of Fireflies from. After answering that final question from you all, I pop into the kitchen and clean up from dinner and prep my breakfast for the next day. I close out the video by telling you about my evening plans not that the kids are in bed, and say goodbye!
