"TE PERDI LA FE" Angel Flores (1978 LP REMASTERED 32-bit)

Known as "EL COPETON," from Corpus Christi, TX. Angel Flores, another one of the best "squeeze box" players in "Musica Regional", or "Conjunto Music." Signed by FREDDIE RECORDS in 1978, this is the first of about 6 LP's total recorded for the Freddie label. Highlights of this album include the title track "TE PERDI LA FE," "PICO DE GALLO", a catchy polka composed by Angel, some great renditions of "MI PIQUITO DE ORO," which Angel was second to record (Carlos Miranda was the first), "PRESO SIN DELITO", (recorded a year prior to Ruben Naranjo's smash hit version) and "MI ULTIMA CARTA," a haunting song about a dying man's last letter to his loved one.
