Tons of articles tell you tips to speed up your computer, but many of these "tips" are obvious, or just utterly useless. But preventing programs from starting WILL help your computer.

➤Turn off services
Services are processes that run in the background to help other programs. But tons of then try to update software every time the computer starts
-Press the Start Button
-Type "msconfig"
-Go to the "Services" tab of "System Configuration"
-"Hide Microsoft Services" so you don't accidentally break the operating system
-Uncheck things you don't need like updates services or programs you don't use often

➤Turn of Actual Programs
-Go to "Startup" tab & uncheck things
-If you're in Windows 10, you will need to do it through Task Manager
-You can sort them by name & by status (Enabled/Disabled)
