What more can SA take before we find ourselves stuck in State Capture 2.0? Reports that Deputy President Paul Mashatile resides in a lavish R37 million home are alarming.

The DA will supplement its complaint to the Public Protector with this new information.

The reports indicate that the lavish home was purchased by Mashatile's son-in-law, Nceba Nonkwelo, who allegedly received funding from Gauteng government entities. Furthermore, Mashatile’s son, Thabiso, is listed as a co-purchaser of the property.

This speaks loudly on the destructive habit of ANC cadres to abuse taxpayer funds to finance their luxury lifestyles – a carbon copy of State Capture 1.0. The DA's commitment is to ensure transparency, accountability, and the dismantling of ANC State Capture 2.0 before it wreaks further havoc on our society.
