Rodrigo and Gabriela, patrons to Irish run Eden Farmed Animal Sanctuary & Matilda's Promise, Animal Rights & Vegan Education Centre.

Rodrigo y Gabriela have been patrons of Eden Farm Animal Sanctuary & Matilda's Promise, Animal Rights & Vegan Education Centre since 2012 when they saw the film You Haven't Lived Until You've Hugged a Turkey, produced by the sanctuary.

Rodrigo and Gabriela appeared at their old haunt on Grafton St, Dublin, for an impromptu busking session where they introduced fans to Eden's work prior to the gig at the National Concert Hall which was dedicated to Eden.

Eden is home to more than 100 animals, rescued from exploitation, neglect, abuse, and death by slaughter. Its founder, psychologist Sandra Higgins, opened the sanctuary in 2008. Since that time the lives of several hundred animals have been transformed from illness and terror to joy, peace and liberty. The work at Eden is complimented by an animal rights and vegan education centre.
Rodrigo and Gabriela are also vegans and promote animal rights.

They have plans to work in the future with Eden and Matilda's Promise to create awareness of animal rights as an important social justice issue and veganism as the solution to so many interconnected problems: climate change, world hunger, environmental destruction and exploitation of other sentient lives.

Rodrigo and Gabriela share Eden's ethos of the importance of caring for nature, for other animals and for the planet that we all share.
