FEED and it was massively liked and watched and

Today, In this video, I will talk about Pre-FEED.

For any new product or project, after completing
Feasibility Study and Concept Development,
Owner, or Sponsor of proposed Product or
Project engage a contractor normally
an EPCM company to perform Pre-FEED.

Here EPCM means Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management.

I have already briefly talked about Feasibility Study
and Concept Development in my last videos, and
I have also shared link in the description of this video.

Now let’s talk about what is Pre-FEED and what
outcome we should expect from it.

Basically, Pre-FEED develops mainly three things,

1. basis of design,
2. product or project constraints and
3. define the concept.

There are lot of activities we perform in any typical
Pre-FEED project but mainly activities are like:

1. Set project codes, standards, local and international regulations
2. Budget is evaluated
3. Schedule is evaluated
4. Technical and Economic Feasibility
5. Limitations including Process operating, design
and installation conditions
6. Risks, including resources, manpower, material.

Now lets talk about the deliverable which we
Should expect at the end of Pre-FEED process.
They are like:
1. Basis of Design
2. Product or Project Specifications
3. Plant Operating Parameters
4. Material Selection
5. Process Regulatory Requirements
6. Preliminary Plot Plan
7. Time to complete
8. Cost to complete
