Uniform Civil Code: BJP Ally AIADMK Opposes UCC, Says 'Read Our Manifesto'

AIADMK chief K Palaniswami on Wednesday reiterated the party's stand on the Uniform Civil Code (UCC), and said that it strongly objects to it. Despite AIADMK being the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP)'s ally in Tamil Nadu, Palaniswami said it doesn't support UCC, and it is made amply clear in the party manifesto for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
