Aging Mercenary Adventurer - 28mm Miniature Kitbash

Описание к видео Aging Mercenary Adventurer - 28mm Miniature Kitbash

Just a small "what's on the workbench?" video project, as I finish up the editing on some of the larger projects (the fantasy ships, monsters, creatures and space ships etc) that I show in the channel trailers.
…..
To be honest I’m still figuring out my set up with these videos. What to show, what to focus on in terms of information versus simply visual content etc (hopefully you will be able to bear with me through this early phase, laughs). In particular, on this video I think I seemed to mumble a fair bit. I’ll try to talk more clearly on any subsequent outings.
For those of you that want to jump straight to the kitbash, and roll past the opening waffle, it starts at around th 2:50 mark.
…..

So, this post covers a pretty straightforward kitbash of an aging mercenary adventurer, and uses bits from about a half a dozen different kits, mostly from places like North Star, Perrys etc. plus I use a little EVA foam (a very small amount cut from a 1mm roll), and green stuff (less than a little fingernail’s worth) and discuss, in passing, other miniatures for Reconquer Designs and Hayland.

Built as one of a number of character pieces I'm hoping to pull together for a ttrpg project based around the strange 13/14th Century Island and Port Town of Ravenser Odd, a curious port town that appeared in the 13th Century in the Humber Estuary, off the coast of my home city of Hull, here in the UK.
I recently got to write and illustrate a comic project based on the subject for a local museum service, and as part of the process of creating the art for the comic I built a scratch-build model of the island. And now the project itself is done and out in the world I thought it might be fun to use the model as the "map" for a homebrew roleplaying game.
But more about that in another video.

If you want to know more about Ravenser Odd the island, it has a Wikipedia entry, while more about the comics project and other related illustrations can be found on my artstation - https://www.artstation.com/

The music in the video is stuff I make to use in my around the table or online TTRPG games, and you can find more of that here -   / x6taeatvunk7kjww9

Elsewhere I'm @hesir on Twitter, @AKAhesir on IG, and hesir.artstation.com - I'm an illustrator of comics and TTRPG imagery based in Hull, East Yorkshire, I make music for fun and my own illustration based, animation/film and TTRPG projects.

Edit: this is a repost of the video I posted in the early hours this am. I listened back to it today, and decided to tweak the sound of my voice (just upping the volume a notch). No other changes. Thanks again for your patience.
