Afrobeats superstar Davido has finally replied to trolls on why he had a big Miami wedding. While the “With You” singer and his clan were flying into Miami for his anticipated white wedding, the Delta state governor’s aide, Ovie Success Ossai, made a post saying that Davido and Chioma’s white wedding is a waste of money, and he is disappointed. He further asked what the essence of a white wedding is in Florida when his lavish traditional wedding was over a year ago.
While in Miami and during the pre-wedding party, Davido revealed that he spent a whopping 3.7 million dollars on his White Wedding Ceremony. If you convert that to Naira, that is a whopping 5.5 billion Naira. But just after the wedding, Singer Teni lamented the high cost of hotels in the expensive city. Davido reported her video with the caption, “I DON RUN” in capital letters.
Hours later, the Afrobeats superstar took to X to answer trolls on why he chose to do a white wedding a year after his traditional wedding.
