Wednesday evenings heavy downpours caused several motor vehicle accidents in Montgomery County. Just after 5pm a Dodge truck heading north on FM1485 lost control in a steep turn at Firetower Road. The male driver flipped the vehicle onto the roof up against the fence of a natural gas pumping station.
New Caney Fire Department along with Bennette Fire department spent close to an hour freeing the victim.
The victim was transported to a local hospital in stable condition.
The accident happened during the height of evening traffic closing FM1485 completely.
