Eric's dream of a leggy blonde finally looked like coming true! Here Hull Regency Dancers were joined by members of the audience on a cold and windy day in front of Beverley's Guildhall. The girl on the stilts was incredible while playing the role of a young Georgian lady. Sadly, landless, penniless, hairless and hopeless Eric had no chance.
The little girl was great too and I am sure her parents are truly proud of her.
Hull Regency dancers meet on Friday evenings at 7 p.m. in St Columba's Church Hall, Laburnum Avenue, Hull. There is no membership fee and the subs are £2 per night.
