Working on my 'new' project bike that I recently acquired ( '16 TE250 ). Idle was hanging at a high RPM after riding hard, then drop. Also stalling on steep downhills. This week I rebuilt the carb, set float level, and installed a slightly bigger main jet (172).

Test ride with # 172 main jet, up from the # 168 the first time out. Going a bit richer seemed to help quite a bit. Top end is strong, but it still feels a little lean in the mid-range.
