First of all, I'm not a mechanic. I'm a dad of 2 girls that has to save money where I can. Lucky for me I kind of like working on cars, as long as they don't fight back too much. In this video, I show a little bit about how to replace the belt tensioner on a Toyota 1.8 Liter engine commonly found on 2003 - 2008 Toyota Matrix, Toyota Corolla, and Pontiac Vibe. The same basics could apply to any car with this style tensioner really. The biggest lesson in this video, get good quality parts. Hopefully you can get something useful out of this, or at least a little entertainment.
