Funded PhD Opportunities in Aural Diversity 2024 Webinar

This is a recording of a webinar that took place at the University of Salford on Thurs 21st March 2024. It briefed potential applicants on the PhD opportunities that are available through the new Leverhulme Aural diversity doctoral research hub - LAURA - which starts in Sept/Oct 2024. This substantial research activity will change the way that hearing differences are understood, in every discipline that deals with sound. Over the next three years it will recruit more PhD, MPhil and MSc students, seeing LAURA grow to 25 research students in total.

In this webinar, Prof Bill Davies, the Director of LAURA, presented on what LAURA is, what funding is available, and how to apply. Then there was a round robin with several LAURA supervisors introducing themselves and their topics.
