New Khowar song 2025 - Binju - Ahsan Ul Haq original - A Melodic Journey of Passion and Seperation

Experience the essence of Khowar music as I proudly present my first original song, “Binju.” This heartfelt composition, penned by poet Anwar Wali (Mushuur), explores themes of love, passion, and longing. This production is an attempt to take Khowar music a step forward and include a melo modern touch that adds to the beauty of Khowar music.

The music was recorded in Oxford University Music Department with the help of Saad Barcha and the video is shot in London with my co-actor Munira. The video was sponsored by Umeed Sports Center? And the editing and marketing was done kindly by Qoqnuz that works on Khowar music and culture.

English translation:

It feels like it'd take me centuries if I was supposed to forget thee.
Thy apathy towards me, like an autumn in life and thy smile used to be like a serene spring.

The precious folks left the valley and it feels like I and the valley have been desolated
God knows how the entire hope of my subsistence would sustain itself, untill they come back.

I'v advised you many times that wear a small BINJU wood in thy wrist to ward the evil eyes charm off,
Or You would be cursed by the evil eyes till I burn esfand (Syrian Rue) seeds for you.

If it was God's palace, the swallows would surely come to extinguish the fire, but here the poor's hut burned to ashes until they come with water in their beaks.

Spending the whole life in a journey when at last I feel I reached at a destination, where I could find you,
But, when I hardly get nearer to thee, between us, I get another distance again to travel to, to get thee.

In every sip thy Anwar falls into a deep nostalgia that the cup of tea gets colder than every sip,ever
And in a great appetite of 'brunch' it gets me 'dusk' to have a single morsel of it.
