I drove from Dehradun, taking the scenic route via Lal Tibba—a mesmerizing drive that sets the tone for what’s to come. After a few hours on the road, I finally arrived at a place where time truly stands still—Landour.

The first spot that greets you here is the iconic Char Dukaan—a cluster of four old shops, now a buzzing hangout known for its serene setting and tasty treats. Don’t miss the Ginger Lemon Tea and Pancakes, two of its most loved offerings. Interestingly, "Char Dukaan" gets its name from the original four shops that existed when Landour was first established.

A short drive ahead brings you to Lal Tibba, the highest point of Mussoorie. It’s more than just a viewpoint—it’s a quaint café with rooftop seating and binoculars that offer panoramic views of the majestic Himalayas.

But if there’s one place that defines the essence of Landour, it’s the Landour Bakehouse. Famous for its mouth-watering pastries, cakes, and freshly baked bread, many of the recipes here date back to the late 1800s.
