In the late 1950s, Bishop was a working stand-up comic on the rise. So much so, that Frank Sinatra took notice of him, and he began opening for Old Blue Eyes on tour. This skyrocketed Bishop’s status in the entertainment world, and this was increased when Bishop joined the other star entertainers with the formation of the Rat Pack. We also talk about how the Rat Pack came to be, as well as the reality of their booze-infused, skirt-chasing personas. You might be surprised to find out how much of that image was real. So if you’ve always wondered about the reasons for Joey Bishop not being in the Rat Pack for nearly as long as other members, you’ll get your answers today!
