Prince John of the United Kingdom was the youngest child of George V and Mary of Teck. He was born on 12 July 1905 at York Cottage on the Sandringham Estate. His father became king in 1910. When John was four years old, he suffered his first epileptic seizure, and as time went on, his condition worsened.
