Exploring West Sussex: The Ultimate Hill Walk Adventure!

Join us on this circular walk of Harting Down and its lesser known pathways.
This chalk hill is part of The South downs National Park and has the very popular South Downs way trail passing through and on to its summit of Beacon Hill.
At 249 meters high and offering extensive views over West Sussex, Hampshire and even The Isle of Wight on clear days. It's modest height offers much interest for minimal effort!
Though be warned this walk can be both very windy and extremely muddy during winter adventures!

We also visited the ruin of Vandalian Tower. This 18th century folly sitting opposite the carpark at Harting down sits on Tower hill.
This was built to commemorate the British colony of Vandalia. However this colony was short lived due to the spread of America.
