A Prayer Flag is a colorful rectangular cloth used to send prayers and best wishes to those that are in time of need.These flags originated thousands of years ago and were used to bless the surrounding country side and are still often found strung along mountain ridges and peaks high in the Himalayas.It is believed that the prayers of a flag become a permanent part of the universe and by hanging flags in high places the Flag will carry the blessings depicted on the flags to all beings.
