The special-edition Ford Mustang Mach 1 is limited to just 700 units in Australia, and features some eye-catching visual upgrades and several mechanical enhancements too.

The major changes take place with the suspension, which is designed to improve its at-the-limit handling to ensure it’s a track-ready Mustang right off the show room floor.

Tweaks to the brakes are also in there while engine upgrades and the inclusion of a heavy-duty Tremec six-speed manual with twin clutch discs will find favour with purists. The Mach 1 is also available with the Mustang’s 10-speed automatic.
