Miami Hurricanes SPRING PRACTICE 1 Recap: Van Dyke Looks Healthy, Emory Williams Looks LEGIT

The Miami Hurricanes had their first spring practice of 2023 on Saturday, March 4th. Starting quarterback Tyler Van Dyke looks completely healthy after suffering a shoulder injury last season. True freshman quarterback Emory Williams looks accurate with his throws and in incredible physical condition. Running back Don Chaney Jr, who missed most of last season injured, is completely healthy and looking good. Mario Cristobal was happy with what he saw from the first practice.

Host Alex Donno reacts to everything he saw out on the Greentree Practice Fields on day 1. Donno was very impressed with the hands-on work that new WRs coach Kevin Beard was doing with his players. Donno loved what he saw out of redshirt freshman WR Isaiah Horton and true freshmen Robby Washington and Ray Ray Joseph. Donno notes that the entire team looks bigger and stronger than they did at this time a year ago. Donno notes that he saw Miami signee Antione Jackson on campus. Jackson had asked for a release of his national letter of intent last month but perhaps he’s having a change of heart?
