The new MB Sprinters in USA have check engine light systems that actually tell you why they come on. In pretty much all cases you CAN DRIVE WITH THE LIGHT ON. Just make sure that your OIL-LIGHT IS OFF and you will be just fine. Check engine lights are there to let you know that something is not perfect and it must get looked at in the next 2 to 3 weeks, or sooner if possible.
