Big Bear is centered around Big Bear Lake, which serves as the natural hub of the area. There you’ll be able to spend time doing all kinds of watersports, from canoeing and kayaking, to jet skiing and boating. You’ll have the option of getting your heart pumping, or simply sitting on the water, or the shore, and taking in the sun and the gorgeous scenery. But beyond the allure of the lake itself, the area of Big Bear Lake has plenty of things to explore. In this video, we go over some of our favorites. If you’re a hiker, Big Bear has a ton of great options. You’ll be wowed by the vistas and panoramic views afforded to you as you hike one of the many trails in the area. But be warned – the trails are quite popular, so if you’re looking for a more secluded experience, you might want to hike early in the morning.
