"Decision at Thunder Rift" is an old novel, one of the first written in the Battletech (Mech Warrior) universe. It was written by William H.Keith JR. and published in 1992. It is the first novel in the Gray Death Legion series, one regarded among the best written books in the Battletech universe. It covers the fight for survival of a young mech warrior pilot on a planet threatened to be taken over by a rival faction.

Some of you might wonder why I didn't do another Warhammer novel. The answer is that I wanted to see how decently I could narrate something non-Warhammer. I read a few Battletech novels a while ago and even if most of them are beneath the average Warhammer novel, the universe is interesting and they are entertaining sci-fi actioners.
