Spinvasion Off-Ride at Kennywood NEW For 2023

Spinvasion at Kennywood is a Gryphon flat ride developed by Zamperla. 24 riders sit in single seats and spin around the base up to 13 RPH. The seats ten begin to swing in an alternating mode, flinging riders up in the air and back down again in a repeated motion. The sensation tries to mimic the retired Swing Around ride that lasted from 1989 to 2005. It is also capable of creating wavelength patterns, but this was only use during early previews. Spinvasion is part of the new Area 412, loosely themed to aliens. It is also home to a great light package. Spinvasion replaced Volcano, which was removed in 2021.

This video showcases Spinvasion all throughout the 2023 season, including the summer, Phantom Fall Fest, and Holiday Lights.
