I made this video because when I first started to shoot slog3, I really struggled with noise in my images, especially when shooting low light scenes. I saw everyone else shooting Slog3 achieve really clean images and I wanted to know what I was doing wrong.

In this video I show 4 tests I did with both the dual base iso's. My finders were that 800iso gives you the cleanest signal when shooting low light and if you over expose but a stop or two (make sure you don't clip any highlights) then by bringing it down in post, you'll get the best results.

12,800iso is noisier but if you take the same steps then you'll again get the best results.

There is a great video by Oren Soffer (co-DP of The Creator) who says "there is still a bit of a noise floor at iso 12,800 on the FX3, which we really embraced on The Creator"
