Aloha Everyone! It's Lynn with iHula Hawaii, bringing the hula of Hawaii‘i to you. By request here is "He Mele No Lilo" with audio prompts of the hela, ka‘o and kaholo.

Starting in the "makaukau" (ready) position, hands are up at the "wai-u" area, legs are at rest & feet slightly apart. With the sound of the drums we will bend, hands on our hips, ready to do a slow hela: there are eight of these.

8 slow hela
8 up to tempo
16 ka‘o
Point and hold

Now let's kaholo for 8, hands on hips.
Now with straight arms up, another 8.
Hands on your hips, right foot forward.
For our last 8 count we will kaholo and our arms up doing the hula hand.

Ending, point your right foot, hands in the "pau" position.
