Present Perfect is FORMED⤵️

1. subject + have/has + V3/Ved

◽️He has already seen the movie.
◽️They have cleaned the room.

short/contracted forms are used more often ⤵️

She has = She's
He has = He's
It has = It's
I have = I've
We have = We've
You have = You've
They have = They've

2. subject + haven't/hasn't + V3/Ved

◽️He hasn't seen the movie yet.
◽️They haven't cleaned the room.

3. Have/Has + subject + V3/Ved?

Present Perfect is USED:

1. when we want to talk about unfinished actions or states or habits that started in the past and continue to the present

◽️I've known her since 1990.

2. when we want to talk about life experience

◽️They have visited London 5 times.

3. with an unfinished time word (today, this week, this month, this year)

◽️I haven't seen my friend this week.

4. when we speak about a finished action with a result in the present

5. with the words "just", "yet", "already", "ever", "never", "since", "for", "so far"
