In this video, we show you how to make sesame & dates laddu. In the subcontinent, this is commonly referred to as til ke ladoo.

This is a healthy snack version of a quite famous recipe that is specially made for the kite festival of Makar Sankranti.

We will show you how to make this recipe from the comfort of your own home.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup almonds
1 cup dried figs
1 cup dates
pinch of salt
4 tbsp tahini

Grind the mixture and then you can make 8 energy balls with this mixture. Then use roasted sesame seeds and roll the balls into them in order to get the balls coated with the sesame seeds.

This recipe is delicious and the great thing is that you can say it is in the category of healthy snacks because we use ingredients such as figs and dates where you achieve sweetness without the use of excessive sugar of cashni.

This is somewhat a Gujurati style of making this snack, with minor adjustments to make this healthy whilst maintaining the delicious taste.
