This is a one bedroom and one bath apartment nearby the new Brentwood Mall in Burnaby, BC. The area surrounding the apartment is being developed to be one that homes many highrise building condos all around. There is a train station nearby as well as grocery stores, like costco and whole foods. It will be a great area in the near future although the following years to come will be loud and dusty due to the construction in progress around.

This apartment is being rented for $1950 a month, it comes with a parking stall and a storage locker. Please keep in mind that it is a small space for $1950! BC rental housing is really crazy lately! That price, by the way, does not come with the internet and electricity. Not to mention that when you live at a highrise apartment, you will have to purchase home insurance to protect you from any incidental damages from the building or the residents. Considering everything, the total cost of this monthly will be around $2200, which will be too much to pay for one person who does not make more than $100,000 a year.

The point is…that it is very expensive to rent a home in Vancouver and the surrounding cities especially when you are alone.
