DIY Macrame Butterfly | Macrame Moth Tutorial | Butterfly Ornament | Macrame Wings Design

Hi! Let me show you how I made my first macrame butterfly. In this tutorial I will show you step by step how to make beautiful and unique macrame butterfly. You can use this wing design for other macrame projects, such as macrame angels, fairies etc.

I will demonstrate how to make basic macrame knots:
(reverse) lark’s head knot
double half hitch knot

Materials:
3 mm cotton cord
160cm - 2pcs
100cm - 2 pcs
90cm - 2pcs
70cm - 4pcs
60cm - 1 pc

1,5mm cotton cord (or if your wooden beads have larger holes, you can use 3mm cord instead)
100cm - 1pcs

Wooden beads:
24mm - 2pcs
17mm - 1pc
9mm - 1pc

Wooden ring - 48mm (outer diameter)
