These retractable gates are designed to be installed between two banisters at the top and bottom of a staircase. The strap and buckle system allow Stair Barriers to work on banisters of all shapes and sizes.

The Stair Barrier's gates for banisters measure 32" high. For widths smaller than 36" or over 52”, we offer made-to-order custom gates.
