Rockin 58 - (live) Your True Love

Cover of a Carl Perkins song by Rockin 58 who are a five piece fifties rock’n’roll band from Barry in the Vale of Glamorgan, covering songs from all the ‘greats’, Elvis, Gene Vincent, Eddie Cochran, Chuck Berry, Ricky Nelson etc. The musical style is guitar based, full sound without being too loud, with plenty of background vocal harmonies. More importantly it is performed in a fun and entertaining way. The aim is for the band and the audience to have an enjoyable evening, rounded off with great music.

Rockin 58 are:
Steve, vocalist and Shakin’ Stevens fan, formally frontman for The Stingrays rock’n’roll band.
Andy, lead guitar and backing vocals, formally ‘George’ in the Beatboys tribute band, lists his other influences as Eddie Cochran, Buddy Holly and Carl Perkins.
Tony, rhythm guitar and hollering, former lead guitarist with The Bobcats and showband Putting On The Style.
Mark, bass and backing vocals, played in the 80’s with rock’n’roll band Nervous Breakdown and more recently with Putting On The Style and Second Chance.
Roger, drums, who also played with Second Chance and Putting On The Style.
