Shillingford Wood is locally known as ‘The Bluebell Woods’. It consists of nine acres of ancient woodland and three acres of mixed deciduous plantation. It is popular with walkers, wildlife enthusiasts and photographers. It is on the southern edge of the village of Shillingford St George and is within walking distance of the western fringes of the city of Exeter in the lee of the Haldon Hills in Devon.

Friends of Shillingford Wood is a registered UK Charity set up by local residents to raise the funds needed to secure the purchase of these woods. Your donations will help to fund the purchase. If you have ever enjoyed the woods or just love woodland please donate to our cause. In just a few months we have raised almost half the amount needed to buy the wood.
