This is the story of a German Messerschmitt Bf-109 fighter flown by Wulf-Dietrich Widowitz. He was shot down over Murmansk, Russia in April of 1942, where he was forced to crash land on a frozen lake. Then his fighter would sink for 60 years before it was finally brought back to the surface.
This was made using the World War II flight simulator IL-2 Sturmovik Great Battles series. Hope you enjoy! Please like, comment, and subscribe. #WW2 #WWIIHistory #WarThunder
