In one plan by Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren, they would be giving social security beneficiaries an additional $2,400 per year ($200 per month social security increase). This would go to those on social security retirement, SSI, and SSDI. Furthermore, we discuss other plans currently on the table for social security, as well as discussing the cost of living adjustment (COLA) for 2023, which is likely to increase 10%, with a big jump in pay for those receiving social security benefits.
