Woodturning - A Very Special Symbol

Описание к видео Woodturning - A Very Special Symbol

I've dedicated this next project to an avid fan who I have befriended over some time, and who has gone through a really awful time recently. I wanted him to have something special from me to him, that could hopefully comfort him and give him something to treasure over the coming months.
The Twisted nature of this candle holder is to symbolise how interlocked people become in one another's lives.
The candle holder is made from Sweet chestnut, sanded to 1000 grit and finished with Danish oil and wood wax.

Let me know what you think!

Disclaimer:
My videos are for entertainment purposes only. Some of my techniques might not be the "best" or safest, so when using any tool or machinery always read and understand safety/manufacturers guidelines first.
And Yes, I'm aware that wearing gloves while woodturning is considered an unsafe practice. The gloves I wear are tight-fitting and don’t have any loose threads. I wear them for the protection of my skin. This is a risk that I am willing to take, however I am still very conscious of the potential danger and I do not touch any spinning parts of the lathe. DO NOT copy my actions if you feel unsafe doing so.
