Different types of cholesterol, LDL the bad cholesterol which should be less than 70mg/dl in heart and Diabetic patients but otherwise its limits depends on the risk of patient less than 160mg/dl or less than 130mg/dl , HDL cholesterol is good one Ideally should be above 40-45mg/dl but if above 190mg/dl its very high even in low risk patients. Triglycerides normal limits are less than 100/150mg/dl border line high 150-499mg/dl and high greater than 500.
