Time for the second major boss battle in Metroid Prime, Thardus! This boss a fair bit more annoying than previous fights... especially when it starts to roll around... but overall the fight is still really simple, even on Hard Mode.

The strategy for this boss is simple, Thermal Visor to find a weak point, Combat Visor once the weak point is revealed, blow up the weak point, wash rinse repeat until Thardus goes kaboom.

Its roll is the only attack that does significant damage, so watch out!
