Dream Theater - Another Day (cover) - Zoom G1/X Four "I&W" Custom Preset Pack

After years of tweaking digital guitar multi-effects pedals "handicapped" - that is, without access to reference-grade speakers and headphones - we have finally gotten the opportunity to make presets with some very detailed monitors and studio preamps, thanks to South Bay Studio.
Sharing with you my first preset pack for the Zoom G1 Four and G1X Four, designed to be plugged directly into headphones, mixers, FRFR speakers, PA systems, or when no dedicated guitar amplifier is available for use:

1. I&W Cln - an American-style clean tone, with ample chorusing and high frequency extension. Perfect for 80s and 90s clean plucking passages with the right pickup types.
2. I&W Crunch - a heavy but fairly tight rhythm distortion sound, combining body and presence for clear chords and punchy palmmuting.
3. I&W Lead - a smooth and cutting lead distortion sound that cuts through the band mix with ease. Plenty of mid frequencies without the nasal honk, and with ample sustain that tracks fast playing fairly well.

The audio is basically me recording my guitar performance using my Zoom G1X Four, plugged in stereo straight to my Focusrite audio interface. The backing track is actually the original Dream Theater vocal, bass, keyboards, and drum stem tracks, leaving the guitar spot open for anyone to record over.

I have to admit I am still not 100% sold sound-wise, but this is the closest I have gotten to Petrucci's isolated guitar tracks for this album thus far, and the overall balance of the presets are such that I am confident enough to share it around. I will definitely come out with a version 2 once I get more chances to do reference listening and tweaking.
