Описание к видео JUST IN! Ed Miliband in SHAMBLES As Starmer SACKS him after Failing to cut Energy Bill by £300

Good day everyone, and welcome back to UK Posthug. Please subscribe to the channel to get daily updates on news shaping British politics. Today we need to talk about Ed Miliband, and I realise that just saying that name is probably enough to make half of you groan and the other half reach for the comment section. But bear with me, because what is happening under his watch as Energy Secretary is not just bad policy. It is economic vandalism on a scale that should shock anyone who cares about British industry, British jobs, and the future prosperity of this country.

Let us start with the basics. Ed Miliband's job, his actual job description, is to ensure Britain has an affordable, secure supply of energy for homes and businesses. That is what he is supposed to be doing. That would let families heat and light their houses without fear, and give companies a fighting chance to compete and grow. Those are not unreasonable expectations. That is literally what an Energy Secretary should be focused on. But that is not his priority. All that matters to Ed Miliband is his frantic green transition.

And I use the word frantic deliberately, because there is something almost manic about the way this Government, and Miliband in particular, is pursuing net zero. It is not a measured, considered approach that balances environmental concerns with economic reality. It is an ideological crusade that seems entirely disconnected from the consequences it is having on real people and real businesses.

Miliband seems content to let millions shiver through winter and entire industries go bust or flee overseas by giving us some of the highest energy prices in the world. And that is not hyperbole. We genuinely do have some of the highest energy prices in the developed world. It is costing us fourteen billion pounds a year. Fourteen billion. That is money coming out of household budgets. That is money coming out of business balance sheets. That is money that could be spent on growing the economy, on creating jobs, on improving people's lives. But instead, it is being sacrificed on the altar of Ed Miliband's green credentials.

And why? Why is he doing this? Well, as long as he can signal his virtuous net zero credentials to Labour activists who adore him, he does not seem to care about the consequences. And that is the most damning thing about all of this. There is a sense that Miliband is more interested in being praised by environmental campaigners and party activists than he is in actually delivering affordable energy for the British people.

Let us talk about the promises that were made. During the election, Miliband promised his green plans would cut three hundred pounds from the average household energy bill. Three hundred pounds. That was the promise. That was what people were told when they voted Labour. But what has actually happened? Households are already paying one hundred and eighty seven pounds more, despite plunging oil and gas prices. Read that again. Despite plunging oil and gas prices. The price of oil and gas on international markets has fallen, and yet British households are paying more. How is that possible? It is possible because of the policies that Miliband is implementing.#keirstarmer #Nigelfarage #ukreform #tories uk #kemibadenoch #tories #rachelreeves #angelarayner #edmiliband #ukpolitics
