Lobster curry is a dish made by cooking lobster in a spicy curry sauce. The sauce is typically made with a blend of spices such as cumin, coriander, turmeric, and chilli powder, along with coconut milk and tomato paste. The lobster is simmered in the sauce until it is cooked through and infused with the flavors of the spices. The dish is commonly served over rice or with crusty bread to soak up the flavorful sauce.

Ingredients

Lobster 2.5 kg
Coconut Oil ½ Cup
Garlic and Ginger Paste
6 Onion
Curry Leaves
4 Tomatos
Coconut and Green Chili Paste
Roasted Curry Powder 1 tbsp
Chili Powder 2 tbsp
Boiled Lobster
Salt Powder
Garcinia
Coconut Milk 2 Cups
Drumstick Leaves (Moringa Leaves)
Water 3 Cups

Method

Boil a large pot of salted water.
Add lobster, cover, and cook for 8-10 minutes.
Remove lobster from pot and let cool.
Crack the claws and tail, and cut into bite-sized pieces.
Make a paste from scraped coconut and green chilli.
In a separate pan, heat coconut oil over medium heat.
Add garlic ginger paste and cook until fragrant.
Add onion and cook until golden brown.
Add tomato and add coconut, green chilli paste.
Finally add turmeric, roasted curry powder and red chilli powder.
Cook 5 minutes over high heat.
Add lobster pieces and garcinia, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
Add coconut milk.
Cover and cook for 5 minutes.
Add moringa leaves.
Serve immediately with rice or bread. Enjoy!
