Tying the Seaguar/Lefty Kreh knot

Описание к видео Tying the Seaguar/Lefty Kreh knot

The Seaguar knot (also called the Lefty Kreh knot) is the only knot I use to attach a mono (for topwater fishing) or fluoro (for most everything else) leader to my braided main line. 8# fluoro to 6# braid? Seaguar knot. 20# Mono to 20# braid? Seaguar knot. 25# fluoro to 30# braid? Yeah, same deal.
It's simpler and faster to tie than any of the "wrap" style braid-to-leader knots, and just as strong. Even with my one good 75+ year old-eye I can tie it in low light and a breeze if need be. It doesn't slip, so you can cut the tag ends flush, which makes it a lot cleaner going through the guides. It's just a superior knot for this application.
Unfortunately, as great as the knot is, most of the videos I've seen on how to tie it leave a lot to be desired. I hope this one is better. I THINK it is.
