By this time in the Star Trek: Enterprise Episode, 'In a Mirror Darkly', Archer was bent on taking over Earth, Starfleet, and anything else that he came across. The Vulcans enlisted Dr. Phlox to help them in their quest to stop Archer by having Phlox take the main power grid offline, therefore giving Avenger the upper edge. They weren't counting on Defiant's Power being restored. More showcasing of the awesome CGI technology used in making the old Kirk Era ship kick some real butt.
As a viewer pointed out in my other 'In a Mirror Darkly' segment, The USS Defiant was last seen in
an original series episode called, 'The Tholian Web'.
